Tutor

Karine WIGMORE

I was born and educated in France, in a county (région) which is called Auvergne and more precisely in a market town called Le Puy-En-Velay.

I studied English at the university in Clermont-Ferrand and graduated  with an MA in English.

While studying I started teaching English and French in secondary schools, preparing pupils for either their GCSE (Brevet des Collèges) or their A-Level (Baccalauréat).

I also worked in England on a number of separate occasions.

I finally settled in England in 2000. I went back to university in Canterbury to qualify as a teacher. After graduating with the PGCE Post-Compulsory I started teaching French at University, Colleges, Adult Education Centres, WEA, Pilgrims and SES Folkestone.

I have also worked  as a teacher trainer for international companies.

In 2012, I decided to start offering private tuitions in French as I was getting frustrated with the amount of time spent filling in useless paperwork, and I wanted to dedicate more time to my students.
